Enjoyed this read as always. Yeah...I think folks are itching to "act out" in ways that are just suppressed emotions/impulses for too long. It's interesting...the dichotomy that's itching and erupting all at once. (Totally in support of Halloween as a vessel for that (it's my birthday ;) )
We want what we had, funnily enough. Curators we could trust, not crowd sourced data sets that can be manipulated. Everything is the result of the tyranny of choice. We try to solve it. Tech decides otherwise and offers a solution that quickly becomes a part of the problem. The only thing that doesn't change is feeling overwhelmed. Which is how we started here in the first place. Place many brands of ketchup on a shelf and no one buys. Place a limited amount of brands and ketchup sales rise. Funny that.
